Community News Service LLC
What we offer
Community News Service, LLC, began publishing community newspapers in 2001 with a simple goal: to provide a new and dynamic outlet where people could learn about what was going on in the towns where they lived and worked.
The newspapers in the Community News Service family do more than just report on the news. Our publications connect businesses with their customers, organizations with their members and neighbors with one another. From entertainment and dining to personality profiles and business spotlights, from community calendars to high school sports, Community News Service publications are the sources our readers turn to when they want to know what’s going on in their neck of the woods.
Privately owned and based in Mercer County, Community News Service currently publishes eight community-focused monthly newspapers: The Trenton Downtowner (founded 2001), the Ewing Observer (founded 2003), the Hamilton Post (founded 2005), Lawrence Gazette (founded 2007), Robbinsville Advance (founded 2008), the Hopewell Express (founded 2009), the Princeton Echo (founded 2010), and the Bordentown Current (founded 2012).
In 2012 Community News Service merged with the publisher of two additional papers, the business and entertainment weekly U.S. 1 (founded 1984) and the biweekly West Windsor & Plainsboro News (founded 2000).
