THE MAX Challenge entered the Hamilton community in September of 2014. Located in Block Plaza on Route 33, THE MAX states that their combination of exercise classes, nutritional counseling and motivation will truly help you make fast and lasting changes to your health, appearance and fitness level in only 10 weeks. Their 10-week fitness challenge is designed for someone at any fitness level to lose weight, tone their body and improve their overall health.
The program is led by Noelmarie Rossi and her staff of trainers who teach fitness classes that begin as early as 5:00 AM and are throughout the morning and into the afternoon and evening. “It is important to have a schedule that provides flexibility to accommodate the demanding schedules we all keep these days.” says Rossi. THE MAX Challenge wants to become known in every town where they have a center as the premier place to come when you want to get into the absolute best shape of your life.
Noelmarie told us “There are a lot of options for fitness in the Hamilton area.” She went on to say that she believes a differentiator for THE MAX is that you’ll be given personalized attention that will keep you on task towards the achievement of your fitness goals. THE MAX also incorporates nutrition counseling into their system. “Our nutrition program is based on the right foods, sensible portion sizes and smart meal timing. We provide education that hopefully sticks with every member past the end of their 10-week challenge whether they decide to stay with us or go it on their own. Of course we invite every member to stay as long as they’d like!” stated Rossi.
As a change from most fitness facilities, you won’t find typical gym equipment inside THE MAX of Hamilton. “Our classes are instructed using minimal equipment and focusing mostly on utilizing your own body weight for exercise.” Rossi said. The environment of the classroom was described as uplifting, positive and encouraging which certainly doesn’t compare to that of a “Boot Camp” or similar type of program. “No member will ever feel intimidated at THE MAX. We will also never push someone to do an exercise that they don’t feel comfortable doing.” boasted Rossi.
It is common in the fitness industry for individuals to have recurring memberships to gym’s and truly never attend. THE MAX business model is very different; in fact, when a member misses a certain number of classes in a row they get a phone call from Rossi or another staff member to check in and help bring them back to class.
