In August, Shop Hamilton learned that the CYO of Mercer County at the Bromley Center was in need of backpacks and school supplies for children in the community. Shop Hamilton quickly pulled together and collected money and supplies and delivered a donation before school started. The CYO at the Bromley Center invited Shop Hamilton members to meet the children and learn more about all that the CYO does for our Hamilton Community. A very impressive organization offering a place where children can come after school to get homework help and so much more. In addition to this location, the CYO has 4 satellite locations offering the same after-school opportunity as well as many other services throughout the year.
Shop Hamilton is looking forward to helping facilitate some of their upcoming events. During the visit, Mayor Yaede stopped by to check-in with the children. The children that we met were there voluntarily working on homework and school projects. A great group of students committed to succeeding!
